As many of you know, Hayden doesn't know the meaning of the word "stranger." He can and will talk to absolutely everyone and anyone. I admire this quality in him because when I was young I was painfully shy and you couldn't pay me to talk to people. Hayden is quite the opposite.
Anyways, today Hayden had to go with my mom to her doctor's appt. She messed up the appt. time and they actually got there 1 hr early and ended up having to be in the waiting room for 2 hrs. Hayden apparently entertained the packed waiting room (~11 people). He talked with everyone, sang, and just talked about random things (things that impressed them though). Then he began talking about a horse that he had seen on Animal Planet. He told them that the horse had stripes on his back like Jesus had. He told them of how the soldiers were mean to Jesus and put stripes on his back. He told them of how Jesus died but that he didn't stay dead. Mom said they were all listening intentively and then began agreeing with him when he said that Jesus didn't stay dead.
Hayden just absorbs so much information. You can tell how he pays attention in his class at church. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful children's program at BelieversWay. If he's like this at 4 yrs of age, imagine what he could be like in the future...
